About Wyatt C. Louis

Wyatt C. Louis is a Plains Cree singer-songwriter whose music blends elements of indie, roots, folk, and country into a sound that is uniquely their own. Raised across parts of Treaty 6 Territory and now based in Moh’kinstsís (Calgary), Louis draws inspiration from place, memory, and personal experience, creating songs that feel both intimate and expansive.

Their debut album, Chandler, showcases rich vocals, atmospheric arrangements, and thoughtful songwriting that reflects the landscapes and influences that have shaped their artistic journey. Created during a period of reflection and collaboration, the album balances warmth and vulnerability with moments of optimism and connection. Louis’ work honours the country music traditions of their upbringing while embracing contemporary indie and roots influences, resulting in music that resonates across genres and audiences.

Audiences can expect an engaging live performance featuring powerful storytelling, captivating vocals, and songs that invite listeners into a deeply personal and memorable musical experience.
