Celebrate the end of summer reading with a morning of free family fun!

LodgePole Arts Alliance is excited to be joining the Kingston Frontenac Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge Wrap Up Party with a community booth featuring a hands-on seed ball-making activity.

Seed balls are a fun and easy way to help native plants and pollinators thrive. Using a mixture of clay, soil, and native wildflower seeds, participants will create their own seed balls to take home or scatter in a suitable outdoor space. It’s a simple activity that encourages environmental stewardship while connecting children and families to the land in a creative and engaging way.

The Wrap Up Party will also feature a variety of activities hosted by local community organizations, including EarlyON, Maltby Centre, and more. Whether you’ve completed the Summer Reading Challenge or are simply looking for a fun morning out, everyone is welcome to join the celebration.
